NAME

hangup - terminate a connection
SYNOPSIS
hangup ["connection name"]
hangupn [ifn]
DESCRIPTION
Command hangup "connection name" immediately terminates the specified connection. If no connection name is specified, the file hangup.txt is executed, if it exists. Otherwise, the Default Autodial Connection is terminated.

Command hangupn ifn immediately terminates the current connection of the specified interface. If argument ifn is 0, the current Autodial Default Connection is terminated. If no interface number is specified, the file hangup.txt is executed, if it exists. Otherwise, the Default Autodial Connection is terminated.

If the hangup succeeds, and the connection had been associated with a PPP Client interface, the NAT32 Routing Table is adjusted, the interface's IP Mapping, Port Mapping and DNS Mapping flags are cleared, and all associated entries in the Port Mapping Table are deleted. If no PPP Client interface was associated with the connection, no further action is taken.

NOTES
The connection name must be specified within double-quotes if it contains white-space characters.

No other dial or hangup operations are allowed while a hangup is in progress.
